Industrial Metal Storage Drive In Racking
details
Drive-in pallet racks combine the benefits of block stacking and rack storage: they utilize space compactly and allow for high storage heights. They are especially well-suited for storing large quantities of identical products, such as detergents with long shelf lives, product catalogs, motor oil, toilet paper, or canned food.

The goods are stored on shelves accessible from only one side. A forklift enters the rack aisle and places the pallets onto the side-mounted reciprocating device. Since the drive-in racking system has only one open end, it can only be operated from this side. The last pallet stored is the first to be retrieved, meaning storage and retrieval follow the LIFO principle (last in, first out).

Starting with the price, this shelf style offers numerous benefits. In the long term, drive-in pallet racks are generally more economical than alternative storage solutions, even though the initial installation cost may be higher than other options.

They are ideal for areas with limited storage space. With flexible depth and height density, they can store up to 75% of an impressive inventory in precisely the same location.
The rack columns come in a range of widths and thicknesses and are equipped with guide rails to optimize the safety of storing and retrieving pallets, and to provide additional protection to minimize damage to the pallets and racks.
