The Drive-In Storage Rack allows a forklift to drive into the rack from one side to pick up or unload pallets. The depth of storage is limited only by the size of the facility. Drive-In operates on a last-in, first-out (LIFO) method of storage.

The Drive-Through rack permits the lift truck to enter from either side to load or pick up pallets. It provides slightly less dense storage due to the need for more aisles, but because the Drive-Through is open at both ends, it operates on a first-in, first-out (FIFO) method of storage, making it ideal for products with expiration dates.

Both Drive-In and Drive-Through pallet racks can be adapted to either FIFO (First In, First Out) or LIFO (Last In, First Out) storage systems.
