1. Verify that the overall dimensions of the pallet rack are consistent. Use a tape measure to check the lengths of the columns and beams. Be aware that there is a distinction between the inner and outer dimensions of the rack. It is essential to confirm with the rack manufacturer whether to measure based on the inner or outer dimensions.

2. Inspect the quality of the rack's materials for any bending or deformation. However, it is inevitable that goods may be accidentally bumped during transportation. If the material has minor dents, this is considered normal.

3. Examine the overall installation accuracy of the racks. The vertical deviation should not exceed 10mm, the height deviation of beams on the same level should be within ±10mm, the deviation of the center distance between the bases of columns in adjacent racks should be within ±2mm, and the misalignment deviation of racks in the same lane and row should not be more than 5mm.

4. Upright pieces are typically welded at the factory. The quality of the weld seams on the rack surface is indicative of the manufacturer's production capabilities. The seams must be uniform, without cracks, slag inclusions, welding spatter, burn-through, arc craters, or needle-shaped pores. These defects should be meticulously examined during acceptance.

5. Assess the surface coating quality of the storage racks. The surface treatment is easily observable. The buyer can visually inspect whether the surface meets the requirements or use a hammer to tap the rack's surface to check for any flaking, thereby verifying if the manufacturer's spraying meets the usage standard.
